Mint Shoes

Meet my beautiful new shoes, Vanna, by Chinese Laundry in Mint green. I have been searching for shoes like this for over a year and a half.
I never would have found them except that the web site has a fantastic shoe locator where I was able to find all the local stores that stocked Vanna.
Funny coincedence, once I brought the shoes home I noticed that they are the exact same color as our wedding invitations, except that Paper Source calls the color sage.

I like! I bought a pair of cork wedges for spring and summer, too, though mine are metallic. I’m wearing them for the first time today. So surprisingly comfy!

I love my red strappy JCrew cork platforms! Problem is, I can’t wear them right now since it is snowing in CT tonight. All of this sandel talk is making us folks in the Northeast jealous. I just may have to make my feet freeze.

Fabulous! I just love the mint colour!
And now I have a geeky question. how did you create that cool streaky effect in the borders of your photo?

Since I’m a 38-yr-old with arthritic feet and can’t wear most of the cute shoes I lust after, I always turn to Dansko for shoes. I was so happy to see that they’re making sandals in a pretty green color this year too! They’re calling it “pistachio”, so it’s a little yellower than the mint ones you mentioned. But still… awfully cute! And easy on the joints.
